Project Overview

Today.ly is simulated virtual office software inside a browser, where you can see your team and talk to them instantly. It allows teams to work remotely without completely losing the serendipitous moments physical offices provide. We believe working remotely in Today.ly’s virtual office simulation can make remote work more fun and interactive.

SupremeTech started developing Today.ly after being approached by our current business partner in Singapore. They came to us to create a virtual office space during the peak hours of remote work. Our partner relied on us to leverage our expertise in R&D to design and develop an MVP. One of the main reasons for choosing SupremeTech as their partner was the proximity of Vietnam to Singapore. However, they also recognized our ability to deliver a quality product quickly and efficiently.

The challenge

  • The business idea was born during the pandemic, as were many online learning and work tools. Our mission is to create a virtual office software where users can see their co-workers available in a virtual workspace and ready to start a conversation within 5 seconds.
  • The application provides real-time communication via voice calls, video calls, screen
    sharing, and text chat. Since our users will use the product for their professional work,
    24/7 service availability and stability are top priority.
  • The product’s first release should be a web application so that users can start talking
    quickly without download time. However, regular users will require a desktop app, so we must also plan for the desktop application soon.
  • The main challenge is: How can we build something that takes advantage of office work’s benefits but isn’t redundant or completely useless in the market?

The solution

We created an online space for communication, not just a communication tool. Today.ly is a collaboration platform that provides most of the goodness around a physical office. It gives a simulated office view where you have your Workspace, Conference room, Lounge, etc. With just one click, you can start talking to your colleagues, and everything works in real time.
